Awesome 3D Text - Guest Tutorial
As a registered user you can publish your own tutorials on this site, these tutorials will be published as so called Guest tutorials. Intro:
Transform every text into 3d text that just looks much better then flat text! Perfect for headers, logo's or just random text used anywhere.
Below is the end result of this tutorial:
Step 1:
Find a place where you want your 3D-font, then place your text (any font, any size) in any colour or style you like.
Note: NO OUTER STYLES LIKE STROKE, OUTER GLOW OR DROP SHADOW!!! INNER STYLES ARE OK TO USE. Rightclick the layer and select RASTERISE LAYER.
Step 2:
Go to Edit>Transform>Perspective and make the text's perspective a little different.
Duplicate the text-layer, and select the original, then select the Move-Tool and press "DOWN" 30 times!
Step 3:
Go to Filter>Render>Lightning Effects and make sure that the lower layer is a bit shadowed.
Step 4:
Click the lower layer and hold ALT and press "UP" as many times as you pressed "DOWN" 2 steps ago... (Wich is 30 times!)
