Intro:
Learn how to remove moles / Birth-spots / Freckles / pimples with the spot healing brush tool and the healing brush tool in photoshop.
Step 1:
Open up this image of Cindy crawford, and take the Spot healing brush (Shorcut: J)
First I'm going to explain the spot healing brush tool a bit, The spot healing brush is a tool which fixes an error on a surface automaticly, example: You click on a pimple and the tool will automaticly check the surface around it and tries to match the pimple with that surrounding surface, resulting in the pimple to dissapear. I have to tell you the tool does a great job but I prefer to do it manually which I explain later on in this tutorial.
First we'll let photoshop do most of the work, so let's get started! We're only going to resize the brush size to 8px and leave all the other settings on default. We took a 8px brush because it's the size of the pimple making our job alot easier (is this possible? Yes). Now click once on the birthspot and there you go the birthspot has dissapeared!
I don't know you notices but theres a brown mark on the face too surrounding the birthspot we just removed.

Go ahead and try to remove that spot with the spot healing brush. You did it? If the answer is yes please tell me how you did it because it's just not possible.
Step 2:
So here's where I use the normal healing brush tool, normally I would start with the normal healing brush tool immediatly, so it will cover up the whole part that need to be fixed at once.
Take the "Healing brush tool", it's under the same icon as the spot healing brush tool, right-click on that icon and choose "Healing brush tool".

With this tool you can actually pick a spot you want to be copied and place it on the spot you want to be fixed! This way you can fix it much more accurate, let's get on it.
Resize the brush size to 14px, hold ALT and click outside the brown spot, be carefully what you copy in the healing brush for sometimes it makes it look weird, if that happens just go back with Ctrl+Z. I copied just above the brown spot (the cheek) and pasted it onto the brown spot clicking once.
And there you go, the birthspot and brown spot are history! Now you can remove those pimples and whatever you want to be removed.

With this technique you can do alot of cool stuff on someone's face, like putting another face on it and smoothing it out around the edges. Good luck!
