On a Dutch electronic site I saw a text effect + background that cought my eye and thought it was a good idea to re-create it for a tutorial, so I did.. Just check it out in full size, it's a pretty cool effect you could use for your site or in some magazine if you have the possibility.

Photoshop Face Makeover

I don't like it to do it over the top so it will be over obvious it was tweaked with Photoshop, I like to do subtle changes so it almost (I hope entirely) looks real.
