Back on track again with major update

Hi again,

Starting from this year I didn't update the site a lot because I had different things on my mind besides managing my site. One of the things that kept me busy mostly is a very special girl Wink, we did some amazing things together and shared a lot of wisdom. Why that's great stuff, in a way it was keeping me from exploring the designing communities and improving my design skills, and losing to improve yourself in what you love is like losing a part of your soul.
I got good news (if you care that is) as I try to update the site as regularly as possible, I can tell you that new photoshop tutorials are coming. As I work during the day at a "normal" company so most of the time I put in to update the site will be done in the evening hours and weekends. Of course if you want to help out with the site that's greatly appreciated, you can contact me via the contact form

Now let's talk about the new update celoxdesign has revived from. The old design was just plain stupid (mostly the structure of the menus) and needed to go fast, although it ran on the site for quite some time Happy. The new design has a very easily navigatable menu-bar, which makes it possible to navigate to all the important pages without having to scroll down as in the old design with some of the menus.
One other big change you might notice is that the content is on the left instead of being sided by 2 menus (a 3 column page layout), this is more friendly for the reading eye as someone would most likely read from the left to right and would have his eyes right on the content they were looking. Also, finally we have RSS Feeds which are being polished and monitored by feedburner.
CD will have its own advertising system soon, the checkout page is still under construction so you won't be able to buy advertising through this system quite yet (soon though!). You'll be able to buy the following ad spots: the 728x90 banners in the header and footer, one of the 300x250 in the side-menu. And you can buy a sponsored link to boost your search engine ranking. Of course with all the ads you'll get an decent>significant increase in visitors to your site. You can buy all the spots monthly/yearly and can select the quantity on the checkout page so you can select multiple months or years.

One last thing I need to mention is that we're going to have a contest on the site very soon. Gary from how.todesignyour.com was a good sport by providing 3 FREE membership accounts for how.todesignyour.com, the site contains very useful Photoshop video tutorials that will most definitely improve your PS skills. I don't know yet what kind of contest is going to be held but I'll be launching it soon so I better think of something Happy

Hey oskevinco! I'm glad to see you've made your way back to CD.

The competition is probably going to be a posting competition. All the posts will be counted so the blog comments, shoutbox messages and the forum posts! I'm now working on a script that counts these 3 tables for each member.
