Heya,
As I said in the previous post I'm currently working on a new design for Celoxdesign.net. Well I had a BIG problem with the render, I was working on another PC in my room and I accidentally snatched the main power cable of my room out!! So All my render time was LOST, I was on the half of the render at the time.
So I had to render it again, this time with other render settings and it went ALOT faster this time, maybe because I turned on SSE, read something about it on Wikipedia.
The design itself is not a stretch design like version 1, but one with dimensions for a 1024x768 resolution. The setup of the page is basically the same only that I moved the shout-box to the left because of the header. And some other minor changes to the setup, and of course the design will be ALOT different!
Check back soonish.
Some posts back I talked about me thinking of a new design, A day after I thought about it I started working on a new design. This design will be a light design with a 3Dmax render as header and footer. But the render takes so long to render, I'm rendering for almost 2 days now and I'm not even on half of the render progress.
Below is a little sneak preview I took from the render window in 3Dmax, I will show you to whole window so you can see how much I still have to render. I'm rendering this in 1280x1024 resolution, the window below is like half the size of it's original size.

I cant give any release date of the new design, just check back every now and then..
Heya,
Made a new tutorial, this tutorial will explain on how to cutout a car from Need for speed most wanted from a garage screenshot. Also will be explained on how to bur it so it looks like it's moving. I took this screenshot with Xfire on my own save game so I designed the car myself and you can use this screenshot for whatever you want! Just leave a note when you do so I can check it out.
Check this tut out! And leave your comments on it, thanks.
The next tutorial I'll be making will be a tutorial on how to make a 100% stretch layout! This tutorial is going to be big so will eat up a lot of my free time, Hopefully it will be done next week or so.
I had Norton Internet security for a while now, but now I've found a bug which I can't fix myself. I didn't saw the big thumbnails in the wallpapers section because of the ad blocker built in the Norton Internet security, when I disabled the ad blocker I still couldn't see them. So I added my site to the list and set every setting on allow, still not working. Eventually I had to disable the whole Internet security to get it to work.
After some searching on Google and personal knowledge of programs I decided to go with Bitdefender Internet security, some say it's the best Internet security.
The design is live for a almost a day now, I had to take some minor bugs out today and all is finished now, at least that I know off hehe.. If you still find bugs just leave me a note in the shout-box or contact me, I'd really appreciate it.
There are some bugs in IE7 Beta2, I'll wait for the final release and see what happens. Hopefully it's there fault!
Now about the design..
I made my first render with Cinema 4D and I thought it would be cool to first make a wallpaper of it and then cut out a piece of the best part to use for the header in the design, which I obviously did. The wallpaper is available for download here.
EDIT: Updated the mobile supported page, and linked it in the main menu under "CD Mobile", Enjoy! I'll make a splash page soon so mobile phone users don't have to load the PC site.
I made celoxdesign brows-able for mobile phones with internet today, all the neat features aren't available because some mobile browsers simply doesn't support them and they eat up a lot of space. I only resized the header of the original design and put it at the top, the rest is all text so slow mobile phone connections can still browse the site fast as like on a PC.
View the CD Mobile site here
I will make a splash page soon which is supported for mobile phones too so they can choose the link to go to the mobile phone supported page.
Any comments about this are welcome, thanks.
Heya,
I added 8 new Evangeline Lilly wallpapers to the download section, you know Evangeline.. The chick from TV series Lost. I just love doing things with her photos, as you may have seen in the photoshop tutorials section.
I made wallpapers for 1280x1024 and 1024x768 resolutions, Some are a bit different from one and another, I only changed the colors because I was playing around with photoshop and was looking what looked best, but thought why not add 'em all to the downloads section.
Check new wallpapers here, they are FREE!
As promised I added more wallpapers today, I started making them yesterday and finished them today. Both wallpapers for the resolution 1280x1024 and 1024x768.
Tomorrow I'll shrink all the wallpapers down to 800x600 and make a separate download page of the 800x600 resolution.
- 1280x1024 wallpapers
- 1024x768 wallpapers
I added 3 different auto translators of Google, maybe I'll add more languages later but those languages gave allot of errors. Have to make some changes to the design to make these languages work like they should be. The languages available for now are German, French and Spanish.
Have a good one!
