I recently made the whole site search engine friendly, I optimized the page for search engines using the right keywords, meta tags (for some search engines) and search engines friendly URLs. Of course the search engine friendly (SEF) URLs getting to work was a bit difficult at first but Coolaid of scudworkz helped me out so I could get going on this stuff.
I thought it was all advanced coding that would get this to work but it's just simply adding some rules in a .htaccess file and modifying your code to the new URLs. I did this for all my pages, so I'm happy to announce that Celoxdesign only uses search engine friendly URLs from this point.
If you need some help with search engine friendly URLs just ask on the forum and I'll help you out, it is really easy stuff so get going on this!

As promised I started working on the forum to get it upgraded to the version 5 layout and I can say that I also finished it. Sigma had an idea a while back to make the folder icons on the forum with my logo which was a good idea but I went for the globe folder icons which I think is pretty neat.

Celoxdesign is searching for skilled Adobe photoshop tutorial writers. If you have some spare time and can make a couple tutorials a week, then contact me via the contact form with your info (just tell a bit about yourself and your skills). If you prove yourself a good man or woman I might consider making you a moderator on the forum.
Any questions about this are very welcome and can also be processed through the contact form.

Tonight version 5 "The second space age" was released, this time I went for a 100% stretch layout which in my opinion is much nicer and people with larger resolutions will agree with me I guess.
Since some people still have crappy Internet and I'm a speed freak I created light weight content boxes with just 4 corner images and the rest plain colors, this speeds up the site enormously! The CSS is slimmed down also. I had CSS for my main menu for a while now and recently learned a better way on making this type of menu working in all browsers, the old way needed another file or it didn't show up correctly in Internet explorer.
The forums need some work to be upgraded to version 5, I will start on that tomorrow and hopefully will finish it then.
Any comments / questions about version 5 are welcome, you can leave them in the shout-box or on the forum.

Sorry for the lack of updates here on celoxdesign, but I'm currently busy on 2 new sites that has to be published this month. The first site that has to be published is a site that sells weed related products online, I can't give you the name yet. And the other is a site for a tractor company, this company rebuilds old tractors and sells them, they really do some amazing work there! URI's will be released when sites are launched.
If you are a returning visitor and checks back every now and then please leave me a note in the shoutbox on what you like to see on celoxdesign and I'll try to release it in the next update.
As you may have noticed I deleted the tutorial comments part, this is because it's much easier to have a support section on the forum. It's easier for users to ask questions and check back and for the admin it's much easier to moderate, so it's a win win situation.
Another reason I deleted the comments is because the tutorial page is a lot faster without the comments, especially when you have a lot of comments, so the tutorial page is a lot better off without it.

I had some revenue ads for some time here on CD, but I noticed that they didn't receive any clicks, which is pretty weird my Google adsense CTR (Click through rate) is still how it should be, this means that the ads of revenuepilot HAS to be clicked in those days! Or the reports of revenuepilot are broke or something goes wrong transferring the clicks to revenuepilot.. I don't know, the only thing I know is that they are gone for good! Also I read on the Google adsense support page that putting other content targeted ads on your site is illegal! So it's for the best revenuepilot didn't work for me.
The CD forum competition is still going! Someone has 40 posts and is on his way to the winning spot, but 40 posts is easy to catch up to! If you want a free custom-made template by me (Celox).

As you may have noticed the site wasn't as fast as it used to be, Today I found the cause of the slowdowns! It was the statistics system which showed rows from MySQL tables. I had to delete it for now but it will be back when I've made a better script.
Some of you know the referrals script didn't work since the switch to godaddy.com, I tried to use other PHP and MySQL variables but that wouldn't budge so I also had to delete this script.

Search engine friendly URLs

I hope you all like the new version's redesign, the new features and what not. There are still some minor bugs those need fixing but I'll get on that in the very near future.
