The double underlined links (or in-line text advertising) can be very annoying while reading an article or tutorial but it’s a great additional revenue stream for my site. People whom register an account and login won’t be bothered with these ads.

As for my every day visitors (or close to) you can see I've changed the look. The main reason for this look change is because I had a major bug in the last design in Internet explorer 6. IE6 rendered the content 1 or more pixels to wide so it pushed the right menu under the content. I was thinking of a way to fix this and came to the conclusion that I could fix it easily with a smaller content div with a margin-left value and setting the right content box on float:right. Of course before I tried this I knew it was gonna work, don't want to sound cocky but it was the most effective way to solve this problem, with no CSS hacks what so ever so the code remains light-weight. Now the design renders like it supposed in all browsers, at least in browsers that I can test at home

I've had critiques on my latest design, mostly because of the really dark colors. Well.. I have to say I love black but now that I have something fresh I feel like when I change a design it has to look totally different, but in a somewhat same setup so you (the visitors) and me don't have to get used to the whole new setup. Like Microsoft does with Internet explorer and Windows! They sure know how to bug their users with that stuff.
The design is basically the same setup as I had before, for the reason I just told you (not bugging my users), and because this setup just works great for me advertising-wise.
I changed some PHP in the referrals script, you can now hover over the top 5 referrals and see the hits, it's much cleaner this way.
I had a random photoshop tutorial script but this script just didn't suit the whole look of the site so I changed this random photoshop tutorial script to a text link rotation. It just looks way more cleaner this way.

I've been pretty busy with Celoxdesign.net lately. Made some important changes in the code of the shout-box. The most visible change I made to the shout-box is the URI support, before you could enter an URI but it wasn't displayed, this was because even when you entered an URI it echo-ed out the href="" part making a faulty link. I changed the code so when you enter nothing it won't make a faulty link.
As the title already gave away I made some new photoshop tutorials, below is the list of the 3 new tutorials (newest on top).
- Modding faces with textures
- Enhance photos with different techniques
- Cut out hair and body with extract filter and pen-tool

I've noticed only a couple of dozen sites are submitted each month which I think is pretty less, I've made the submission process A LOT easier so submitting a site is done in a wink.
*Also submit sites you like, the site doesn't have to be yours!
After almost waiting a half year for my Google PageRank 4 Celoxdesign is upgraded to PageRank 5 now after 4 months or so. I guess this is the easiest PageRank to get for a starting website. It'll take me longer to get to PageRank 6 since you need A LOT more inbound links and content, but we'll get there
Finally a new photoshop tutorial! It's been ages since I made one but that's probably a good thing since I made the biggest photoshop tutorial yet (on Celoxdesign.net)! The tutorial has 33 images and a lot of explanation so beginners with some experience would understand! If people find a bug or want to leave feedback you know where to go!
So let's talk about the tutorial itself. It's basically a menu interface in vista style with a background of the most expensive hotel in the world located in Dubai, at least that's what my brother said hehe, but the hotel sure looks AMAZING, just check out some other pictures on Google images.

As you may have noticed Celoxdesign has a new design again ;-), some people have been asking questions why I release designs more often then I change my underwear. Well, this is because I've been reading a lot about Google AdSense and want to try out several different techniques, setups, and ad placements I've learned over the past months. Hopefully this setup will stay for some time, I can't give any guarantee on that though, since I always want to improve my site and the minute I've learned another technique that seems logical to me I want to test it out.
Though the setup and design is not all that changed in this version. I'm also starting to code in PHP and have been adding some extra features here and there, I will release a full Changes list on the forum after I finish this post.
In the earlier versions of Celoxdesign we had a contact form which had several different functions, it did the normal contact function to contact me, it handled the Affiliate requests and Site of the month submissions. I think this was to confusing for my visitors so I made separate pages for those submission functions. You can now easily submit a website for site of the month in a few seconds, in the early version you had to fill in all these extra fields that weren't necessary, same for the Affiliate requests.
I've also added a Webdesign services page, Some people have been asking around here on Celoxdesign what I can do for them, the services page should cover it all nicely. And if your interested in a Service there's an order form on the bottom of the page which you can fill out to contact me and talk things over with me.
I know there are still some bugs on the site, I will fix those as soon as I can.

The last 2 days I've added 2 more photoshop tutorials to the database. I made a star tutorial already but this tutorial will cover on how to make the stars in my v7 header, these are bit more advanced then the old star tutorial. The second tutorial is on how to remove pimples / moles etc from faces, if you learn this photoshop technique you can also put faces on other bodies, which is fun to do =)

A few months back I made Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URLs for the scripts that generate id strings, and now I did the static URLs, this makes the site URLs a lot easier to remember for future use of the site, and of course for being more search engine friendly.
I've been busy with the Celoxdesign tutorial index, Yes you heard it! A tutorial index for Celoxdesign. There's still a lot of work to do on the XHTML since the script I bought has neat php and mysql functions but the XHTML is kinda sloppy, so I have to redo all that. Hope it will be done in a few weeks.
